News 2012 Pool Season The Season Starts 16th Jan 2012Team Nominations Forms need to be in by the 9th Jan 2012 Player Registration Form only need to filled out for new players and detail changes for existing players _______________________________ Div 2 and 3 for Season 1, 2012 are a combined grade seasons due to team numbers but there will be separate finals for both grades B grade will be the top 4 in to finals (1 vs 2 and 3 vs 4) C Grade will be top 3 make final, (2 vs 3) 1st place goes straight into Grand Final _________________Country Vs City 2011 CvC 2011 Was another excellence event this year it was held at Surf Air Resort Macoola Brisbane and District put in another valiant effort buy all grades A grade finished 3rd losing 9 all (2/1 shootout to Norths in the semi finals) Women's finished 5th B grade finished 6th C grade finished 2nd to sunshine coast in the grand final Ben Middleton tied with Rusty Wheeler for Player of the Carnival Dave Mierocha won the friday night open singles Nicole Fielding won the friday night women's singles Nick Pilat and Mick Martin also where finalists in the singles Any body that has pics they would like put up on the website from CVC 2011 please send to pics@brisbaneanddistricts8ball.org.au Best Wish to Nicole Fielding head to England in the Australian Women Team
